The West Bengal Annapurna Yojana provides ₹3,000 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the woman's own Aadhaar-linked bank account. This page explains how payment works, reported installment dates, and the common reasons a payment can be delayed.
How the payment works
- The amount is credited directly by the government to your bank account — no middleman.
- The bank account must be linked and Aadhaar-seeded so DBT can find it (NPCI mapper).
- The account should be in the beneficiary's own name, as per the notification.

Earlier instalments were reported as follows:
- First installment: reported in early June 2026 for a first set of verified women.
- Further monthly installment: reported around 1 July 2026.
- Newly approved applicants generally need to complete verification before disbursement; individual timing can differ.
Important: The announced 17 September release date does not guarantee the funds reached every eligible bank account that day. Check your bank records and follow up with the responsible government office for unresolved application or DBT problems.
Why your payment may be pending
- Bank account not Aadhaar-seeded / DBT not enabled.
- Name or account mismatch between application and bank records.
- Application still under verification or on hold.
- Account inactive, KYC pending, or frozen.
Fixing these usually resolves the delay. See Bank–Aadhaar link and correction guides.
